Oh No! Not Four Cores!

A small red and white DHL van has just delivered this juicy piece of new hardware to our doorstep. For me that means a lot of excitement and late night installing fun. For you that means hopefully a significant boost in speed and response time of your favorite tool on the web.

We'll be overhauling some of our high traffic sites to the new hardware over the next two weekends and hoping to finish the move by September 1st. We’ll keep you up to date in this spot, so check back here to see how we’re doing.

Hardware upgrades unfortunately mean we have to schedule down time. Since there are always people logged in to our services that was quite hard to do. We’ve planned for these upgrades to take place in a relatively quite period to minimize impact.
